Brochures and magazines

Bound offset printed products, especially booklets, magazines and catalogues, are our most important product segment. For this we use two folding machines for the content sheets, a fully automatic saddle stitcher and a perfect binder. With this technology, we guarantee the high-quality, fast and effective finishing of brochures in saddle stitch or perfect binding.

We also carry out wire comb binding (ring binding, wire‑o) ourselves for short-run presentations. On the other hand, we commission an external industrial bookbindery for thread-sewn brochures and books in hardcover as well as for adhesive bindings in very large print runs.

A wide range of individual features are possible for your brochures and books, such as fold-out pages and covers, die-cutting, insert pockets, glued-in additional materials and all kinds of print finishing options.

Folded sheets

From the simple fanfold to the altar fold to versatile parallel and cross combinations with up to 11 fold breaks: For the finishing of your folders, we master almost all machine-possible schemes ourselves.

This also includes the prior creasing of the fold breaks for thicker materials as well as the application of perforation lines. While our flatbed die-cutter is used for long runs and complex shapes, small and medium runs are usually run on our beam creasing machine. Here we can crease and perforate several times in parallel up to an open final format of approx. 50 x 100 cm without toolmaking, i.e. with low basic costs.

Packaging and shipping

In most cases, our service does not end with the machine finishing of the printed product. We are happy to realise your individual packaging instructions, for example, counted bundling, banding or shrink-wrapping as well as labelling the packaging units with your article numbers or similar.

We are also not above doing manual work. We fold and glue punched sheets of any complexity, fill the product with changing and personalised contents, address, frank and dispatch it.

In the dispatch itself, you benefit from our conditions with well-known forwarding agents and parcel services. Of course, we can distribute the print run as you wish, for example to yourself and external warehouses, domestic and foreign branches, sales partners, etc. Personalised individual dispatch is also part of our daily business. If it can be done mechanically, we commission a reliable lettershop, otherwise we do it ourselves.
